Methodology

ESG Tracker scores companies on gender diversity using data on CEO gender, the percentage of women on the board of directors, the number of female executives, and overall board composition. Scores range from 1 to 5, where 5 represents the strongest representation of women in leadership.

Fund scores are calculated as a weighted average of the gender diversity scores of the fund’s underlying holdings. We also report the number of female CEOs, the percentage of boards with more than 30% female representation, and the number of companies with all-male boards to give investors additional detail.

Data is sourced from public filings, proxy statements, and corporate disclosures. Rankings are updated periodically as new data becomes available.
